Diamond dermabrasion is a higher level of the time-honored peel, where the upper layers of the skin are removed by abrasion. Unlike peeling, where abrasive particles in the peeling cream act as abrasion, diamond - microdermabrasion uses suction devices with diamond-coated attachments to treat the skin.
